Due to a family illness, our church secretary was forced to take an
extended leave of absence. Because I had had some experience in using
Publisher and editing newsletters, I was asked to fill in and put
together our weekly church bulletin. It became quickly apparent that I
was woefully ignorant of the newer versions of Publisher. This made
writing and printing the bulletin a stressful and time-consuming chore.
I was aware that Kathy Montgomery of LTF Tech provided a service to
small businesses which involved coming to their offices and training
them on the use of their computer systems and software. I enlisted her
help, and in one session was able to learn a number of skills in
Publisher that cut the time needed to prepare the bulletin by at least
25%.
My husband and I have just started a small business. We are about to
set up our office and plan to use LTF Tech as a resource and support
for our computer systems.
Kathy is both knowledgeable and patient. Both those attributes would
make her a valuable asset to any business needing support to improve
computer skills and knowledge.
